The Breakfast Club radio show, consisting of DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God have arguably been doing the best radio interviews for urban entertainment in the past 5 years or so.  The chemistry and combination of the three different radio personalities make a cool and dynamic blend for entertainment and interviewing, which is a good recipe for sustained success for this medium.

Yesterday, they had Milwaukee, WI repper, actor and singing double threat, Jacob Latimore.  Jacob has been getting some heavy burn on the big screen and the small screen lately, with movie roles in Maze Runner and Detroit.  Also, Latimore can also be caught on the new hit show, “The Chi,” where he plays a young buck trying to balance raising his child and making his way in the world.  The Chi is easily my favorite show this year, and Jacob Latimore’s character, Emmit, plays a huge role in it’s overall success.

With his great performance on the Chi, I can see Jacob Latimore’s acting stock continuing to rise.  He’s also a very dope artist, if you haven’t heard any of his music, check out a video for his song, “The Real,” featuring fellow 414er IshDARR.  The video was also directed by the boy, PhillyFlyBoy.  Make sure to check out Jacob’s interview on The Breakfast Club, also below. #YaDig
