The egg is one of nature’s most magnificent gifts.  From giving life in the form of baby animals, to helping sustain life with it’s culinary capabilities with protein and such, the egg is a mystical gift from the universe.  Being the curious person I am, I always like to know the inner workings of things when afforded the ability to learn, which is basically at my time disposal, yours as well.  Information gathering should be a pass-time we all should value, because it will only bring knowledge and understanding if consumed correctly.

Today I Found Out hits pay dirt again, because the phenomenon described in the video below, is a question that has been on my mind, quite some time.  I’m sure I’m not the only one who has wondered why the yolks in hard boiled eggs can turn green with over boiling.  Of course there is a lot of science behind the change, which makes perfect sense, check the video below to put great context to the yolk “maturation process.”  #YaDig All hail the incredible, edible egg!
