Hard to believe this song came out 15 years ago, but here we are.  I remember vividly listening to this particular record in the summer of 2003.  At the time David Banner was new on the mainstream rap scene, although he had been making waves in the Dirty South via his unique production prowess.  Lil Flip, too was buzzing largely at this time, this collaboration was very potent.  David Banner solidified his status as one of the dopest artists to ever come out of Mississippi with his debut album with the same name of his home state.

After all these years, this record still holds up, that is definitely a key quality in music, the timelessness of it.  It’s no wonder David Banner is highly revered in the rap game. #YaDig  What did you think of this jawn when it dropped?  How do you rate it in David Banner’s catalog?  Check out the track below and comment, too!
